David's passion for surfing in his youth took him from Southern California to Hawaii, where he later started and grew an apparel company selling to top hotel and retail clients throughout the US.  His interest in helping people grow set the tone of his management style, but also led to owning a second company providing educational products in Hawaii.

Upon returning to Southern California to pursue yet another business venture, David became involved at Saddleback Church for three years as volunteer leader of youth and junior high ministries.  Within the context of this vibrant church he honed his leadership skills and found his life calling as a ministry coach.

Following God's call to make a difference in the lives of leaders, David joined Ministry Coaching International as Director of Client Development.  He was married to Kimberly in 2000, and they are parents to Joshua and Taylor.
