Jerry Butler
Coach
With over 35 years of experience, Jerry's ministry has spanned sixty countries, 100 denominations and touched over one million church leaders. Jerry served as an Associate Teaching Pastor and an Interim Pastor at an interdenominational church in Portland, Oregon for eleven years. In these positions, Jerry was responsible for pastoral counseling, adult education and small group ministry. Jerry founded and developed the international ministries of Willow Creek Community Church and later developed the international ministries of the Willow Creek Association. Jerry believes that these ministries were developed primarily through relationships. He focused on helping people to develop their vision, gifts and passions for kingdom ministry and also provided practical training appropriate to differing cultural settings. Jerry and his wife, Sherry, have been married for 38 years and have four adult children.
Through his years of ministry, Jerry has clearly seen the value and necessity of one-on-one coaching. Jerry is motivated by a passion to see Christians live the fullest life possible and to experience great ministry success.
